The California Cybersecurity Employer and Educational Program Statewide Survey looked at nine of the most common cybersecurity-related jobs, according to the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework. Five of the nine jobs are directly related to cybersecurity: systems security analyst, cyber defense analyst, cyber defense infrastructure support specialist, vulnerability assessment analyst and cyber defense forensics analyst. Four jobs are information technology / information systems (IT/IS) roles that require cybersecurity skills: technical support specialist, network operations specialist, system administrator and software developer.
